For?

Internet like any other economy is subject to
fluctuations in market trends. The current market
trend is moving away from selling (users purchasing
goods and services on-line) towards using the sites
as Interactive Brochures and with added facilities
to talk the user through a purchase via a text or
voice link and more readily turning him from a
Browser to a Purchaser.
If
you want to use the site as more of a brochure then
your money is better spent in making the site as
visually appealing and informative as possible
thereby making more effective use of it as a
marketing tool. If it is geared towards attracting
and retaining customers then your needs are better
met by going for a more Portal style information and
Shopping Gallery with a Shopping Cart and Credit
Card facilities. Nevertheless, despite what you nay
have heard, setting up an Internet Site is not an
automatic licence to print money! There are many
considerations and variable factors which will
affect the success or failure of any website.
